DUNEDIN OATS. Punedin, April I.—The market continues exceedingly flat, the only demand existing being for sound bright milling, and even for these millers are not disposed to give prices current last week, the supply being now fully up to their requirements. ."Shippers are unable to operate at late rates owing to the absence of any inducement from Australian markets, which show no indications of an early improvement. Best short milling, Is 5d to Is Bid; nest short bright feed, Is 4Jd to Is Bd ; medium to good. Is 3d to Is id ; inferior, Is to Is 2d (ex store, sacks extra).
JOHNSONVILLE. Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Stock Report (by telegraph on Wednesday).—There was a very short entry of fat cattle yarded to d <y, for .which prices remain at last week's quotations. Sheep in small numbers, confined only to stores and light mutton, for which there was no demand. Fat pigs easier; no stores or porkers entered.
