ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. [BY TJJLKGHAI'H.—OWN OOEUESPONDKNT. 1 Wellington, Wednesday. At the Resident Magistrate's Court this morning the hearing of the charge against Coleman Phlillps, of the Dry River Station, Wairarapa, of breaches of the Land Act, was concluded. The accused was committed for trial. He was allowed bail— himself in a surety of £200, and another surety for the same amount. Mr. J, Duncan, of Levin and Co., and Mr. Blaiv, publisher, have entered as his surety.
