During Mrs. Fowler's journey from Tokaano to Wanganui via Karioi, she was the recipient of numerous presents from the natives, on account of her being the second European lady that has passed that way, accompanied by her husband. The party, which included Count Wachtineister, were highly pleased with thoir trip, which occupied four days from Taupo. .Saturday's coach from Oxford and Okoroire again brought a number of tourists, amongst whom was the Hon.
