CANTERBURY DEFEATED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—press ASSOCIATION.] Ciiristchurcu, Saturday. The Intel-provincial cricket match, Otago v. When play stopped for the day Canterbury had lost four wickets for 54 runs in their second innings, and on resuming, today, were all out for a total of 120. Seven Ot.igo wickets then fell for 36 runs, eight for 58, and nine for 96 ; but the last man, Croxford, played up well, and enabled Baker to hit off the runs required without further disaster.
