Numbers of drivers and stokers have resumed work on the Caledonian Company's line, and the collapse of the strike is expected. The Edinburgh Town Council will petition the Board of Trade to interfere in the Scotch railway strike. The labourers engaged on relief works at Skibbereen and Bantry, County Cork, have struck for an advance in wages.
