A new class of vessels was being built for the colonial trade, and "cool chambers " would he an essential feature of any new cargo ho,it that hoped to carry the produce of the colonies either to the home or foreign markets. lie believed the Continent of Europe, m well as London, would provide a market for fruit grown in the Australasian colonies if it arrived there at the proper season.
