As the owner of Bob was not present, the meeting was adjourned to Ohaupo on Tuesday, to give him an opportunity to uphold his protest against Contempt.
Mr. W. Walters writes complaining of The Baron "appearing amongst the list of acceptois for the Maiden Plate to be run at the Pakuranga Hunt Club's meeting. He states that the horse was not accepted with, as the owners were disgusted with the handicap, and it is therefore misleading to the public as well as the handieapper to keep him in the race.
