THE SALE OF LIQUOR AT THE LABOUR DEMONSTRATION.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] JJunedin, Monday. At a meeting of the Building Trades Union a resolution protesting against liquor being sold at the sports on labour demonstration day was lost. At a meetiug of the demonstration committee the matter came up in form of a request from the Tailoresses Union to rescind the motion to allow liquor to be sold. The previous decision was upheld by 6 to 4.
