THE NEW PLYMOUTH MURDER.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. New Plymouth, Monday. The murder trial was continued to-day. Dr. Carroll gave evidence to the effect that he saw Maloney alive on the 11th April, the day of the murder, eleven o'clock, and next time lie saw Maloney was when he made a post mortem on Moloney's body, the wounds on which he described. Dr. Lea* thatn gave corroborative evidenoe. A number of witnesses gave evidence for the prosecution. The case is still proceeding. Mr. Fell, of Nelson, is conducting the case for the prosecution, anil expects to finish the case for the Crown on Tuesday.
