THE WELLINGTON FIRE.
[by telegraph.— prkss association.] Wellington, Sunday. THE safe belonging to the old Government printing office was opened yesterday. The contents, consisting of the lenses of the large camera recently imported, a large quantity of chemicals and a number of instruments were found unaffected by the heat, despite the fact that the portion of the building in which the safe was built burned fiercely for over an hour.
