WELLINGTON CRICKET ASSOCIATION.
[by telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Monday.—The annual meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association was held this evening. The report and balance-sheet were deferred for a week. Mr. Edward Pearce was re-elected patron, Mr. W. H. Levin president, and Messrs. C. Benbow and F. Allan vice-presidents, Mr. W. F. Allen was elected secretary, and Mr. F. Brit tain treasurer, both Mr. S. Waters and Mr. S. Alpe declining to stand again. A proposition that the Senior Cup matches should be played on only one Saturday instead of two, as at present, was deferred. The other business was purely routine.
