MAN AIA. Messrs. Budge and Good's Monthly Report. —During the month we have found all classes of stock except store sheep hard to quit. There is a cood inquiiy for hoggets at prices from 9s to 10n Cd. We lnve also experienced a good demand for fair ewes in lamb. At our sale, on September 17, more stock came forward than win advertised, bringing the following prices Eighteen months' heifers, IS* tid to 22* 6(1 ; calves, 10s to 16s ; yearling steers, 225. At our Manaia sale on Tutt-day, 23rd September, there was a large attendance of the public. A (though bidding at the hammer was not keen for cattle, yet nearly all were sold afterwards. Every sheep yarded sola readily at the prices quoted below. 000 head of cattle and 4(© sheep were yarded, and realised the following prices :—Three to four year old bullocks, £3 7s 6d, £3 las, £3 17s, £.i 17s 6d ; two to two and a half year old steers, £2 2s (id, £2 Ss, £2 9s M, £2 lis 6d ; yearling to eighteen months' steers, £1 7s, £1 10s, £1 15s ; store cows, from S3s to 35s ; two year old heifers, 24s ; mixed yearlings, lis; heifers, 15s ; mixed sexes calves and yearlings, lis 6d ; fat cows, £2 15s, £3, £4 ; dairy stock, from 35s to £3. Sheep : Fat ewes (itoodi, 13.i; woolly hoggets, lis; shorn, 8a Id, 8s yd, 9s fid.
