THAMES NATIVE LANDS COURT.

[BV TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Friday. At the Native Lands Court to-day the last of the cases in connection with the HoeTainui block was heard, and at the conclusion of the hearing Mr. W. A. Graham, on behalf of the natives, thanked the Court) for the clear and lucid manner in which the cases had been dealt with, and stated that general satisfaction had been given to all parties. In reply, Judge Scannell complimented Wini Kerei upon the good behaviour of the Hoe-o-Tainui and Hauraki natives through the entire hearing, and said that although he had not been many years a Judge of the Native Lands Court, still this was the first court he had held in which the services of the police had not been required. Next week the court will probably adjudicate upon other portions of too Piako block.
