SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

[by TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Friday. A serious accident happened yesterday to a man named Taylor, formerly a miner at the Thames, but who has been recently working on Fallon's contract at Rotorua. It appears that after a blast had been fired Taylor, thinking that all the loose earth had fallen, approached close to the cliff when a large boulder fell and crushed his foot badly. He was brought in to-day to the Waikato Hospital, some of his mates travelling all night with him to catch the 8.20 a.m. train from Cambridge.
