Messrs. ARTHUR and At'DOLE'S Weekly REPORT. —Produce has been in fair demand, with an inadequate supply in some lines, such m good bacon and hams, cheese, and honey. A shipment of Hobart brought high figures. A fair supply of lemons. We have held six auction sales since last report. Messrs. Esam and Arthur's Weekly Report. —Produce Potatoes : The depression referred to in our last report regarding potatoes has not only been maintained, but considerably _ increased. Values are nominal, say £2 to £2 ha, being average -price. We have sold at £2 to £3 10s, and th» tandeticy is downward rather than upward. Cbeoae is in greater demand than the tupply, at 4d to 4id for good, mild quality. Butter is plentiful; value, 4jd to Od for fresh. ; salt In excess of demand, values according to quality. Cereals continue low : Oats, 2s Id to 2s 3d ; bran, £4 ; chaff, £3 to £3 15s. Bacon haa come forward in good quantity, and sold readily. We have cleared nearly every line at auction, from 4}d to 7d ; hams, 6d to Sd. Two outdoor sales have been held daring the week, vendors being satistied with results. We obtained the following prices at Friday's sale :—Potatoes, £2 10s to £3 10s ; inferior, £1 10s to £1 15s ; white carrots, Is to Is Id ; red carrots, Is 3d ; pumpkins, 3s to 3» 6d ; new kidneys, ljd. Large quantity vegetables entered, and all sold at good prices.
