The following team has/been selected to play in the interprovinei/ match against Canterbury Claffey, I/nch, Laurenson, Noel, Keogh, Cran, inderson, Beadle', Duncan, Esquilant, Isaao, McCleary, A. \v! Morris, Captain C. Mirris, Rallingshaw, Reeves, Long, Stevenson, Crawford, Armit', Fitchett. I ]jikn'heim, Monday. The interprovincial 'football match on Saturday, Nelson vj Marlborough, resulted in a win for (the former by six points to three. Daring the game a ser'es of mishaps occurred to the Marlborough team. Robinson and Nesbitt, threequarter and full-back respectively, each had his ankle put out, and Ball, three-quarter, had his shoulder disabled. At the practice match on Wednesday, Speed had one of his ribs broken. All four were selected to go on the Northern tour, but they are not expected to be able to play again this season.
