BRAVERY REWARDED.
TO THE EDITOR. # Sir,—l see the two young men, who at the risk of their lives went to capture a dangerours murderer at Dargaville, were rewarded by being told that had they killed this dangerous animal, they would most likely have been hung. Here is a case of bravery being rewarded with a vengeance. Probably if such a thing occurs again, young men will allow the armed murderer to roam at large and shoot whom he likes, and if in the end he was brought to justice (?), he would be sent to the Whau for a time.— am, &0., Victoria Cross.
