At the Police Court to-day Edward Roernau was brought up on remand, anl charged with having on "9th ult. wilfull; thrown a quantity of sulphuric acid upon one Robert Clementson with intent todo him grievous bodily harm. Af ;er evidence for the prosecution had been taken iie accused was committed for trial, bail being illowed, himself in £200 and two surotiojof 100 each. j
