There were in tho lock-up last evening two females on charges of drunkenness. One was a resident of Onehunga, and the other of Auckland, and one of them considering herself too high toned for the other occupant of the cell, a free fight ensued, and tho er had to interpose, and accord them separate cell accommodation. R. H. Abbott and Co.'s total clearance sale at Karangahape Road of their drapery and clothing stock, prior to giving up the premises, will conclude on Thursday next, the 31st, at four p.m. Goods arc going very cheap there in the meantime.
