Some changes have taken place in the office of the Official Assignee, through tho retirement of Mr. W. Gray. Mr. R. A. Hould succeeds Mr. Gray, Mr. G. Cave (cadet) is promoted to Mr. Hould's post, while a cadet in the Resident Magistrate's Court at Napier, Mr. Haddington, succeeds Mr. Cave.
