TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Will you allow me space to endorse Mr. Hart-noil's protest against the vulgar plan of advertising on the drop scene of the Opera House. The effect on my mind of the particular advertisement referred to was such that I resolved never to allow the beer to be used in my house.—l am, &c., M.
