The romembrance of this time remains graven on our heart. We have admired the zeal which has induced you to inform u.s of a fact which touches us personally, and which was of 1V nature calculated to console us in the midst of the bitterness of the present time, (iivc at St. Peter's, Rome, April 26, 1890, in l.'tth year of our Pontificate, Lr;o XIII.
