Tin; Dunedin Jockey Club had their usual bad luck with their coursing meeting, the weather being drizzling for the Waterloo Cup Meeting, until late in the afternoon, when heavy rain fell. The first rounds of the Cup and Bracelet were got off as follows : Waterloo Cup—2o dogs; winner, £70 and £25 presented by the National Coursing Club; runner-up, £24; third, £10; two £8 each.—Market Day 11. beat Einin Bey, Black Pine beat Aorangi, lona beat Jack Tar, Smoke beat Irony, Watermark beat Magic 11., Snowball beat Fugue, Harpenden beat Maid Athens, Flora beat The Bantam, Presto beat Caloolan. Fernandez beat Newton. Bracelet Stakes : Forty-eight dogs at £0 each ; six at £2 each.— Irish Meg beat Fireworks, Briar Root beat Solitary.
