COIN GO FREE STATE.
Brussels, July 9. Belgium is taking steps to acquire the Congo Free State. Brussels, July 10. An advance of a million sterling by the Belgian Government, for the purposes of the Congo Free State, is made conditionally that after the expiration of ten years Belgium shall be at liberty to annex the Congo, ami that King Leopold 11., under whose soveregnty individually the Congo Free State was placed by a vote of the Belgian Legislature, bequeaths his right to Belgium, unless it is decided during his lifetime to annex the State.
