VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
$- Tiif. return rifle match between the l?onsonby Naval Artillery and the " O" Battery Look place on Mount Eden Range on Saturday afternoon. The conditions for the match were, 10 men a-sitle, and seven shots each at '200, 300, and 500 yards ranges. The shooting was hoc so good as was expected, owing to the showery weather which prevailed during the afternoon, but some good scores were made. It will bo remembered that the Navals defeated the " O" Battery live weeks ago by 33 points, also defeated the Waiignnui Navals by 15, and defeated the "A" Battery 2nd team by 18 points, and they again beat the "O" Battery on Saturday by '20 points.
