COLONIAL LOANS.
PROPOSED CONSOLIDATION. London, June 19. The Australian Trading World suggests the consolidation of a portion of the Australasian debts at the rate of £10 per head, into Federal 3 per cent, consols, jointly and severally secured by perpetuity, and so constitute an accep* i able medium to trustees for investment. The Times considers the suggestion ingenious, and thinks it can be j effected without difficulty.
