ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Napier, Monday. A StAN named Charles Higgius, licensee of the Crown Hotel, Norsewood, to-day attempted suicide by hanging himself by a sword belt to the bannisters. He was discovered before life was extinct, bub now lies in a precarious condition.
