[Memoir was bred at Hampton Court, and at the sale of Her Majesty's yearlings she was purchased by the Duke of Portland for 1500 guineas. As a two-year-old she started on six occasions, winning three of her engagements, her victories being gained in the Bradford Plate of 4:Wsovs, Zetland Stakes of riOOsovs, and Premleigast Stakes of 572sovs. She was a contestant in the One Thousand Guineas run last winter, in which race she finished .second to her stable mate Semolina, but a little later ou she annexed the valuable Newmarket stakes of 6500sovs.] THE HON. SALE OF THE HOBARTVILLE STUD. Full details of the .sale of the Hobartville Stud are now to hand.
