CHARGE OF EMBEZZLEMENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christciicrch, Tuesday. Charles Stewart Gordon, a young man 23 years of age, for four years confidential clerk to Victor Harris, money lender, was arrested to-day on a charge of misappropriating his employer's money. It is believed his defalcations, as ascertained so far, amount to £730. He received a salary of £2 5s per week.
