WIRTH BROTHERS' CIRCUS.

For some time past the arrival of Wirth Brothers' Circus has been looked forward to, and the announcement is now made that the whole troupe arrived at about three o'clock yosterday morning after a fine passage in the chartered steamer Southern Cross. They will open to-night in the Agricultural Hall (late the Columbia Rink), which lias been completely metamorphosed within the last few days by a small army ai labourers and tradesmen, and seating accommodation is provided for a much larger number than the size of the hall would seem to promise, the seats being raised sufficiently to afford a full view of the ring from all parts of the house. The stud, including Messes. Wirths' most recent purchase, the grandly-bred stallion Bannockburn by Idalium (a full brother to Sir Modred, out of Gold Dust) are stabled at Mr. Mason's, near the Ma.rket, where they will be on view to-day, free of charge. Bannockburn, Mr. Wirth. informs us, has been already broken to tihe ring, and will take part in the performance to-night. The Circus has achieved a most unprecedented success in all the Southern cities and towns, and the performances have received the warmest encomiums frosn the press universally, so that we may predict for the public a rich treat. The admission will be at popular prices, nameSy— dress circle, 4s ; stalls, 2s 6d; and pit, Is. The entertainment will commence with an open-air concert by the silver band between seven and eight o'clock. We may add that tickets for the pit and stalls may be obtained during the day at Williamson's tobacconist shop, and dress circle seats can be reserved at Mr. Wildman's stationer's shop, Arcade Build' ings.
