NARROW ESCAPE FROM DEATH.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION*.] Wellington, Sunday. A man* named James Crawford, an expressman, had a narrow escape of being killed last night. He was walking across Willisstreet, when he was knocked down by a tram. The wheels, fortunately, did nob pass over him, bub the car had to be lifted in order to extricate the man, who was a deal knocked about.
