Wellington, Thursday. The Gazette notifies tho appointment of Mr. James Dilworth to be a member of the Auckland University Collego Council vice the late Judge Gillies. The Hon. Daniel Pollen is gazetted graduates' member of the same Council vice. Mr. H. Seth Smith, resigned. On and after Sunday, 22nd September, a light on Cuvier Island, Huraki Gulf, will be exhibited. By Order-in-Council the Auckland University College is subject to section 9 of tho Public Bodies Powers Act, 1887.
