Sra, — your report from Wellington, on this subject, there appears the following : —" The Mayor, in speaking to a reporter, said ' The Premier had promisedsfcp bring in a Bill this session, empowering local bodies to inspect dairies and charge fees for the inspection of the same.'" Exactly ! Promised, so they have.for some sessions past, as I pointed out to you in my letter on typhoid, on the 12th instant. While Nero fiddled, Rome was burning; so, whale our representatives are fighting for the "ins and outs," people died from typhoid, and want of proper enactments -to ensure-public health.—l am, &c., Practical.
