At Feilding on Tuesday in the presence of about 200 dairymen and farmers a public test was made of Stevens and Mountfort's cold vacuum process for preserving fresh butter, etc. It was shown that uns<ed butter keeps perfectly sweet during a year. The process is entirely mechanical and may be used by any dairyman, and practical men are of opinion it will revolutionise the dairying industry. .
