RAILWAYS.
TO THE EDITOK. StK, —When most of our settlers and Mr. S. Yaile are pitching into the railway management for not beiii£ able to do sundry and divers things, and set down all and everyone, at their own doors, together with running trains to suit all peoples and tongues of the colony, we the residents of Fapatoetoe district desire aud hereby record our thanks to the railway authorities for their prompt action (at the request and wish of the settlers) in making a new, much-needed, and most convenient entrance to our railway station, which will prove a great benefit both for passengers and goods traffic.—Signed on behalf of the settlers, Geokoe Scott Chhist.
