The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reserve in notes and bullion to be £12,852,000, being a decrease of £1,420,000 as compared with last week. The proportion of reserves to liabilities is 36? per cent. Consols are SS-i-. New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stock is IOQh, with an active market. Australian wheat, ex warehouse, is 39s 6d.
