Ily. Smith was brought up before Messrs. Wells and Clements, J.P.'s, on two ■; separate charges .of stealingi, goods from natives, and a pair of boots. . The charges were ; proved, and the prisoner .was sentenced to three months' on each count, the sentences to run concurrently.
