Bacon and hams hate sokl freelv, and j supplies are wanted, lloney has moved more freely. Waik&to make is wanted. Poultry of all kinds in ' very large supply. Valuvss unchanged. Young pigs entered in good numbers. Demand has not been so good, and prices 'have been lower. Porkers are scarce, and commanding high prices. Fruit of ail kinds In large supply. Values unchanged for all except plains, which are lower. The demand for this line does not improve, although supplies are but small- their places being taken by pears. Good dessort applet and poftrs have fetched fair values. Grapes : Those to Irani in poor condition. It is a pity that more care is not takon by steamers carry, ing this and other soft fruits, which .ire handled as though they were valueless, and regardless of the interests of'the unfort grower.
