ACTION FOR ILLEGAL IMPRISONMENT.
<v [BY TELEGRAPH. —i'HUSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. James Hay, of Invereargill, arrested here on a charge of alleged intention to defeat his creditors, and dismissed yesterday by the R.M. in the absence of a warrant, has served writs on Inspector Thomson and Detective Chrystal, claiming substantial damages for illegal imprisonment.
