RAID ON CHINESE GAMBLING DEN.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—rRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. The police made a raid on a Chinese gambling den last night. Fifty Chinese were discovered playing "fan-tan," the police arrested the occupier of the premises and his assistant, who were charged with the offence at the R.M. Court to-day, and remanded.
