TO THE KDITOR. Sir,—ln reply to Mr. Buttle's letter, if he is desirous of testing the feeling of any body of country settlers op the question of a land tax, the matter can be easily arranged. If he or anyone else will arrange for a meeting of the settlers, and pay my bare travelling expenses to and from the place of meeting, I will be most happy to address them on the subject, and leave the iasue to be decided by the audience.—l am, &c, H.
