THE DUNEDIN MINISTERS AND GLOVE FIGHTS.
[BY TELKGRAPH. —PRKS3 ASSOCIATION.] Duneotn, Monday. The Dunedin Ministers' Conference have passed a resolution condemning the use of licensed halls for glove contests under the Marquis of Queensberry rules, as they are thinly-disguised prize-fights, brutalising to those engaged and demoralising to the community. A deputation was appointed to wait on the City Council on the subject.
