Colonial stocks generally are weaker, owing to the failure of the South Australian loanAustralian wheat, ex warehouse, 41s 3d per quarter ; New Zealand long-berried, 4s 9a per bushel, with market weak. Copper, £78 per ton iron, best Scotch pig, No. 1, Clyde, 41s 6d. London, February 8. Beet sugar is quoted at 13s 10id. London, February 9. \ The tallow market is somewhat easier, and there is a decline of 2s per cwt. on both beef and mutton.. ! New Zealand hemp is quoted at £38 10s. LONDON WOOL SALES. London, February 9. At the wool sales there is keen competition, -and prices received approach the highest rates , obtained at the December sales, except for short and heavy merinos. "
