MOVEMENTS OF MINISTERS.
The Hon. the Premier, Sir Harry Atkmeon, accompanied' by Mr. W. Kelly, 1&. H.R., and the Premier's private secretary, Mr. Leckie, will leave Auckland this morning, proceeding to the Thames by the steamer Rotomahana. It is arranged that he will receive several deputations at the Thames on matters of local interest, and on Tuesday he will proceed overland to Tauranga, and from thence he intends to visit Rotorua, Taupo, and Napier, making a brief stay at the latter place. What his movements may be subsequently will be according to circumstances, nothing definite being yet arranged. The Hon. E. Mitchelson, Native Minister, will leave by the seven o'clock train this morning for Dargaville, leaving Mr. Lewis, Under-secrctary of Native Affairs, to proceed to Mangere to set aside certain portions of the Native Reserves there for the immediate occupation of such members of Tawhaio's tribe as can show they are entitled to occupy lands on those reserves which are made inalienable. Mr. Mitchelson will return from Dargaville on Wednesday night, and will probably leave Auckland on Friday by the West Coast.
