THE NEW SOUTH WALES PARLIAMENT.

Sydney, January 17. Ik the House of Assembly last night, an amendment moved by Mr. W. McMillan, the member for Sydney, to the effect that the House refuse Supply unless good reasons were shown why the Ministry representing a minority be allowed to hold office, was carried by forty-two to thirty-nine. The Ministry formed by Mr. Dibbs was sworn in this afternoon. His Excellency the Governor, acting upon the advice of the new Cabinet, has granted an immediate dissolution of Parliament. The proclamation will be gazetted to; to-morrow. ! THE DROUGHT. Sydney, January 17. Reports of the bad. effects of the drought still continue. At Carcoar, on the banks of Bilabula River, 1000 acres of grass has been burnt, and stock is suffering from the want of food. At West Crookwell, also on the banks of the river, the crops will only yield half the usual average. SHIPPING CASUALTY. Albany, January 17. Information has been received that the barquentine Airlie, bound from Borneo to Freemantle, coal laden, has put into Ash burton, near Exrnouth Gulf, a fire having broken out on board. The crew reached shore in safety, but the fire has not yet been extinguished. Perth, January 17. Four men, named Barrett, Pinkerton, O'Sykes, and Forrester, left Fostertown, Bulu Bulu, on a fishing expedition.
