THE LATE EMPEROR'S DIARY.

Berlin, January 17. The Reichstag yesterday had under consideration the ease of Professor Geffcken, charged with publishing the diary of the late Emperor Frederick. The indictment sets forth that, in the year 1879, when at Wiesbaden, the then Crown Prince was induced to lend his diary to the Professor. The volume consisted of seven hundred pages, and was in the possession of Geficken for three weeks. Tho Professor is chargod with extractiug twenty pages of the diary. A duplicate of the diary is missing.
