WOOL 9ALE. DUNEDIN, Thursday.—Tho second of the series of wool sales was hold to-day, when there was again a large attendance of local and foreign buyers. There was brisk bidding for choice lots, both halfbrod and merino and for those price* were fully equal to tho last sale. Medium heavy and faulty were well competed for, but there was a feeling that they would be lower in the English market, and prices were perhaps a shade lower. Greasy, halfbred, 8d to lijd ; do., crossbred, 7Jd to lljd ; do., merino. 7d to I2d ; pieces, 4d to IOJd ; washed merino, 11 Jd to 13d ; crossbred and halfbred, 12d to 13Jd ; washod pieces and locka.Od to lOd.
