mOPERS, AHOY! Nobody sympathises with the man who spends twenty shillings a week on whiskey and keeps himself ana his family without a reliable watch or clock of any kind to regulate their movements. Twenty-seven nips will buy the son a Waterbury ; and if this should catch the eye of anyone who has been in tho habit of drinking pretty freely, or who has a deserving son at home, let him give him a Waterbury this Christmas, when for once in his life at all events he will get good value for his money. When expensive watches (on account of their intricate mechanism) come to repairs they cost more in some cases than a new Waterbury. The latter is a goer, however, whilst the former is an ornament only. Start the New Year with one, and be convinced.
