THEFT OF FLUTES.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington', Monday. A young man named Hugh McKcan, a clerk, was to-day charged with stealing bhrco flutes from Hoffmann's music warehouse. At first the magistrate sentenced the accused to three months' imprisonment, but at the request of counsel agreed to reconsider his former decision, and with that view a remand was granted, to await the Probation Officer's report.
