LOST ON THE RANGES.
A GENTLEMAN AND TWO LADIES
MISSING.
[by telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Monday. TnE Evening Post's Woodville Correspondent wires :—" Mr. R. Stone Florence, solicitor, of Woodville, accompanied by two young ladies, started yesterday morning, about six o'clock, to ascend the low spur of the Ruahine Ranges. At one o'clock to-day they had not returned. A search party of about eight men are now out on the ranges, and fires loft in their wake, show them to be nearly at the top. If they do not return quickly with news, a large party will be at once formed."
